NISS Graduate Student Conference

The NISS (National Institute of Statistical Sciences) Graduate Student Network (sites.google.com/view/nissgradstudentnetwork) is very excited to announce a two-day graduate student research conference!

This two-day event will take place on June 12 and 13, 2021, from noon - 5 pm ET and will feature graduate student presentations.

Students can choose to present either an oral presentation or a poster presentation within the following categories:

• Original Research (their own research work)
• Literature Research (presentation of a published paper that is not authored by the presenter)
• Literature Review (presentation on recent developments in an area -- this would be a chance to present a couple of papers to highlight recent developments in an area of interest.)

In addition to presentations by graduate students, we will also have a social networking hour & two invited speakers that will discuss "How to present your research?".

Step 1: Registration

Registration for this event is $20 for Graduate Students. All other registrations are $50. Please submit your registration and payment through the event page on our NISS website here: www.niss.org/events/...
