Engaging students intellectually in the process of learning mathematics is fundamental for improving student achievement in the first two years of collegiate mathematics and thus it is the third pillar of PROWESS. At some point, we have all had disinterested students in our classrooms, whether in face-to-face, online, or hybrid settings. How do you engage them to increase their interest in learning mathematics?

Perhaps at the recent Phoenix conference I met a few of you teachers who are watching this thread. I offer a supplemental product that absolutely engages every student.

My mathwizflashcards.com  are incredibly effective at engaging those students who regularly sit in the back of your classroom and dial out.  When these students are socially paired in the routine my website describes, they must engage and eventually do, to everyone's surprise.

Please consider getting a package of my decks and watch this happen.
