Journey to Mars Mathematics Project - Moon Stationary Lunar Satellites

Problem Statement:  NASA wants to place a satellite in a stationary orbit around our moon. What should the radius of the orbit be? What is the corresponding height above the surface of the moon? At what velocity should the satellite be traveling?

We will use Polya’s Four Problem Solving Steps to assist in solving this problem.
