Abstract: ASA DataFest was created to provide undergraduates with a fun opportunity to engage with a complex and rich dataset in order to solve a real-world challenge. ASA DataFest is hosted at over 50 sites around the world, and brings together undergraduates, data scientists, academics, and other data friends. This webinar will describe previous DataFests, offer advice for those who might want to host a DataFest, and provide advice about how to prepare your students to join in the fun as contestants.
