Student's Attitude Effects Learning in Calculus I

In first semester Calculus, the presenters reordered material for more immediate student success/confidence. Students were taught about learning theory, including Blooms Taxonomy as presented in the book Teach Students How to Learn. These changes made big differences in student motivation, perseverance, and willingness to alter study habits through meta-cognitive self-reflection.
