The MAA OPEN Math program announces the Call for Proposals for OPEN Math Summer 2025 Professional Development (PD) Workshops, a unique opportunity for college math faculty to develop and lead intensive, online teaching and learning-focused PD. We are especially interested in proposals that are designed by 2YC faculty for 2YC faculty.
These workshops are designed to deepen understanding of research-based instructional strategies, promote strategies for creating inclusive learning environments, and foster collaboration and connection among peers.

Key Details
- Workshop Format: Choose between three formats, all with 20 to 30 contact hours - weeklong intensive, extended minicourse, or learning community.
- Focus Areas: Proposals should focus on educational practices at the course and classroom level or on a co-curricular program or structure within a mathematical sciences department.
- Deadline: Proposals must be submitted by October 31, 2024.
