    Are you interested in Standards Based Grading? You hear about it and don't know where to start?
    Come join IMACC (Illinois Mathematics Association of Community Colleges) at our first summer workshop, July 25th 12:30-2:30 PM (Central), virtually on Zoom. We will give a short, about 30 minutes, introduction to Standards Based Grading, where we will introduce what it is, the framework it uses to produce grades, and some pros/cons. The rest of the time will be spent focusing on aspects that we can build now, standards and a revision process. To get the most out of this time together, bring a syllabus or at least a collection of learning objectives for a course you would like to implement Standards Based grading in. For those that are interested we will also be having a casual follow up meeting to discuss how your experience has been going and discuss any issues or questions that have arisen.
