**************************
The Center for Undergraduate Research in Mathematics (CURM) is an NSF-funded program that provides funding and training for academic-year undergraduate research groups in mathematics. The funding consists of mini-grants given to collaborations between 4+year institutions and 2-year or community college for students in their first or second year of college to engage in mathematical research.
Each mini-grant includes $7000 for a course release for each faculty member, supplies, travel and course credit for students. There will also be a required, but funded, faculty workshop the summer before to help faculty engage in research with students, and funds for students to travel to present their work.
The CURM leadership team will be holding online information sessions to help interested faculty with their questions and concerns. These sessions will also help meet potential collaborators at 4+year or 2-year institutions. The first session are set for [insert dates]
CURM has supported more than 300 faculty and 1000 students across the US for more than 15 years. Be part of this wonderful and vibrant community of professors who enjoy doing research with their undergraduate students!
