AMATYC’s Research Committee’s (RMETYC) Academic Network is hosting a Research Session during the AMATYC Conference in Toronto, ON, 17-20 November 2022. The research session will be the evening of 17 November and starts with a plenary address. We invite proposals from researchers engaged in research on mathematics teaching and learning in the community college context or with a focus on the first two years of college mathematics. The purpose of the session is for researchers to present either preliminary reports on research in progress or findings from a completed study. Preliminary research reports describe research in progress and provide opportunities for discussion with the audience. Research report sessions will be 30 minutes, which will include 10 minutes for discussion.
