This month we’re moving away from the deeper thought of student ownership of learning towards a structural effort to support student success. Sticking with the Ownership Theme from June on Revolution, let’s look at the third stanza:

You say you got a real solution
Well, you know
We'd all love to see the plan

The corequisite concept is a real solution (we think, but would like to get to “we know”). And yes, we’d all love to see the plan, so we can adjust it to fit our local environment.

What is IMPACT Live!

IMPACT Live! consist of four portals on the new my.amatyc.org website which include: the online version of AMATYC IMPACT, IMPACT Plus, IMPACT in Action, and IMPACTful Thoughts. It serves as a portal for mathematics instructors to interact with each other as well as serve as a repository for lesson plans, worksheets, projects, videos, and exercises. This interactive online social multimedia portal built for mathematics instructors along with the Community portals on the website can be utilized daily, weekly, or monthly and has just completed Beta-testing. The IMPACT Live! portals on the new website have begun to upload information and create discussions around emerging topics and the highlighted monthly themes. These portals consists of
