Recent changes in mathematics curriculum have impacted the mathematics we teach and how we teach it (e.g., emphasis on statistics and data, Quantitative Reasoning, Artificial Intelligence). How might these recent developments impact the Math for Teachers curriculum?

CBMS put a group together to update the Mathematical Education of Teachers document. The original MET was from 2001, and the update MET2 from 2012. I believe the committee has been named and they're busy working on updating things. One of the updates will be that they're collaborating with a group from the American Statistical Assocation (who is doing the SET documents) so they'll have some overlap between the two.
