Folks -
A group from Association of Christians in the Mathematical Sciences (ACMS) has spent six summers working our way through books. To date, we have read Math in a Postmodern Age: A Christian Perspective by Bradley and Howell, Mathematics: The Loss of Certainty by Kline, Equations from God by Cohen, What is Mathematics, Really? By Reuben Hersh, and Vern Poythress' Redeeming Mathematics. Each of these books takes on questions related to the history and philosophy of mathematics and provides a launching point for discussions around these topics from a Christian perspective. This year we are taking on a book that is a little more education focused.

Book: Beauty for Truth's Sake: On the Re-enchantment of Education by Stratford Caldecott.
