    Dear colleagues,

    We are reaching out to let you know that our application deadline has been extended to Friday, April 17. Only a few spots remain for the BSME Summer 2026 cohort. Please let any interested students know.

    BSME is a fantastic opportunity for undergraduates interested in math education. Moreover, we welcome graduating seniors, graduate students, alumni, and in-service teachers – all of whom can earn graduate credit! (Learn more about BSME credits on our website.)

    Summer@BSME is a six week summer program with two academic components: 

    • courses in mathematics education and 
    • field experience at a mathematics camp for secondary students. 
    BSME participants learn about Hungarian pedagogy in their course work; in the field experience, they explore how the methods learned in the courses are put into practice. Participants earn undergraduate or graduate credits.
