This session is designed for faculty—especially those with students of color—who believe, “I don’t need equity training; I treat everyone the same.”  The focus will be on how faculty introspection can improve racial awareness and understanding. Audience members will consider prompts individually or in groups.

Thanks for speaking about racial equity.  I really enjoyed session and thought your your two This is Us clips were a quick and powerful examples of racial identity. Afterwards, I was able to go through the resource link you shared and the"20 (Self-)Critical Things I Will Do To Be a More Equitable Educator" strongly resonated with me.  It helped remind and keep my awareness open to equity issues.
