A task force is currently being formed to work on one of the documents currently under the purview of our ANet. That document is Guidelines for Mathematics Departments at Two-Year Colleges, which may be accessed by clicking on the following link:

The charge to the task force includes the following:
1. Review AMATYC's Guidelines for Mathematics Departments at Two-Year Colleges document;
2. Recommend to the Board whether the current Guidelines statement should be reaffirmed, revised, or retired;
3. If minor revisions are recommended, submit the minor recommendations for Board review; and,
4. If major revisions are proposed, revise the guidelines and then usher the guidelines statement through the normal or expedited position statement review process.
