Hello,

My name is Sheri Wilson. I am a Grambling State University's Department of Developmental and Higher Education Studies doctoral student. I am conducting a dissertation research study to learn whether there is a connection between developmental education faculty perceptions of student evaluation of teaching surveys based on race, age, institution, gender, and stigma. This study aims to contribute to the research base and improve practice. Participation in this research survey is strictly voluntary. You may choose to participate or to withdraw from the study at any time without penalty or loss of any benefit to which you might otherwise be entitled. There is no cost for participation, nor is there any compensation for participation. Responses will be for research purposes only. Data will be combined, and no identifiable information will be reported. Results of the study will be published, but no names or identifying information will be included in the publication. Participant identity will remain confidential. Your participation is valuable and essential to accomplish my research goals. 

The survey should take at most 8-10 minutes to complete.

• You must work in the field of Developmental Education. 
• For this study, the field of Developmental Education is defined as integrating academic studies and support assistance directed by adult learning and developmental principles.  
• Your responses are confidential, and your name will not be linked with your responses. 
• By completing the survey, you give your consent to participate. 
• You can also decide to stop the survey at any time without penalty. 
• If you do not wish to answer any questions or questions, you may skip them.  
• The survey can be completed from a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
